Crepe
I wanted some crepes this morning so I made The Vegan Corner's crepe recipe. I didn't add lemon zest but put cinnamon instead. They tasted great but I cooked them a bit too long. It was also difficult to spread the batter out. I didn't have a pan that was large enough or with great non-stick pan which made it harder.
I ate some crepes with vegan nutella and some with peanut butter and stewed apples. To the apples I added brown sugar, cinnamon, almond extract and pecans. I think it would have tasted better if I had toasted the pecans a little before adding the apples. I also think adding maple syrup instead of brown sugar or lemon/orange zest instead (or maybe in addition) to almond extract would have been delicious.
