Cinnamon Rolls with Chocolate Sauce
I remade the Hot for Food blog cinnamon rolls and they came out well! I followed the recipe exactly except I added in two cookies of crushed graham crackers along with the cinnamon sugar and made chocolate sauce instead of the caramel they suggest. I wung the sauce and was pretty happy with how it turned out. It was like a rich chocolate ganache type thing.
I used:
milk
brown sugar
white sugar
cocoa powder
coconut oil
couple squares of semi-sweet baking chocolate
would also have been good with a splash of vanilla
Now that I know how to make regular cinnamon rolls and they're not even that difficult, I feel like it would be really fun to experiment with different fillings/ sauces... like what if you did a savory roll
