Mac and Cheese and Meatballs


I cooked for the house yesterday and discovered I prefer this recipe of meatballs (/patties) to the ones I made earlier with red lentils. These just have a deeper, richer flavor. I had made this recipe before but even like them without all the ingredients I had put in the original (recipe below)

I also made spaghetti with cashew/carrot/potato mac and cheese sauce and peas. I mostly just threw a bunch of ingredients in a blender but want to perfect a great mac and cheese style sauce. I think adding things like, tomato paste, miso, lemon juice, could be really good in the sauce.

Meatballs

- 1 chopped pepper

- 1 chopped onion

- 2 cups cooked rice

- 2 cups cooked brown lentils

- 1.5 tbs flax meal

- 3 tbs soy sauce

- 2 tbs onion powder

- 1 tsp cumin

- 2 tsp chilli powder

- 1 tsp garlic powder

- paprika and turmeric

- cook ingredients all together and bake for 20ish minutes at 425
