Another Bowl Combo

I cooked dinner for the house today and I thought it came out surprisingly well!! I was craving rice so I decided to make rice (with onions and salt) and roasted broccoli, kale, asparagus, and butter beans with a mushroom gravy type of thing.

I was unsure about how the gravy was going to come out cause I kind of just made it up as I went along but I thought it came out super well. I first cooked some sliced onions and mushrooms until the water from the mushrooms had evaporated. (I didn't do this but next time I would quickly fry up some rosemary before adding liquid.) Then I added water with as much vegetable stock paste there was left (abt 1/2 tsp) and a tablespoon of soy sauce. I added some flour and cornstarch in attempts to thicken the sauce a bit. I think I should have either put in the flour before hand and created an actual rue or semi-blended up the mixture to make it a bit thicker.

I also might have added a bit too much salt into the rice since the gravy was also quite salty but I thought everything went together deliciously! And I'm a huge fan of the roasted butter beans
